I started this blog as a way to share my experience of living with chronic illness (autoimmune conditions and Lyme) so that allows others who face similar challenges might feel less alone and to give those who love and care for the chronically ill a window into our world.
As I’ve become healthier my writing has morphed into musings about life in general. I try to write as honestly as possible (warts and all) as I am convinced that vulnerability opens the door to connection.
I am a former teacher and nutrition consultant. Born and raised in San Francisco, I now live in Marin County with my husband, our three teenage children, two tabby cats, and one playful goldendoodle. I enjoy hiking, reading, singing and spending quality time with my family and friends.
I am currently working on a memoir.
